Tippmann Sports has released a new X7 builder made specifically for the Tippmann X7 Phenom. After the Phenom's release last month, many were asking about the this new gun's compatibility with the original X7's shrouds, stocks and mag kits. The X7 Phenom Builder will not only allow you to see what your gun will look like before upgrading but it will also give you an idea of what is actually compatible.
One of the limiting factors between the X7 Phenom and the original X7 configuration is the magazine. The Phenom accepts the smaller sized X7 mag kits like the XP5 Straight and Xp5 Curved (with the used of the 9mm magwell). It come standard from the factory with the UMP mag kit, one of the most popular mag styles used by players on the original X7. Some have also reported aftermarket X7 stocks not working with the Phenom, we are still gathering a list.
