JJ Ceramic Apex Adapters

The JJ Ceramic barrels have been a favorite among woodsballers for many reasons. The JJ Ceramic is a great all-around barrel, performing well with most paints at a price that's almost hard to believe. The ceramic coating and matte black finish is the ultimate woodsball combination providing durability and a stealth appearance.

JJ performance has released a new addition to their line-up. The Ceramic Barrel Apex Adapter is a 2.25" add-on that allows for the addition of a BT Apex Tip to the JJ Ceramic Barrel. It is designed using the same material as the ceramic barrels themselves therefore the fit and finish is a perfect match.

The Apex Adapter simply slides over the end of the barrel and is held in place with 3 set screws. It's important not to over tighten the screws; this could damage the screw threads or the barrel itself. We installed one over a strip or two of electrical tape. This provided a surface for the screws to contact without scratching the barrel. You really don't need to over-tighten. If you're worried about the adapter coming loose in the field use a little mild loctite on the set screws before installing them. Use the mild type so that you can remove them later. This will add to the gripping power of the screws and help them resist shaking loose.

The JJ Apex Adapter is milled perfectly to accept the Apex Tip. Simple remove your o-rings from your original BT Apex Barrel, install them on the adapter and then add your Apex Tip. There are 4 screws that secure the two halves of the Apex Tip. Again, don't over tighten these either Superman... snug will do.

J&J states that the adapter can be used on just about any barrel with a 7/8" outer diameter at its end. At $15 that'll save you a lot of time rigging an Apex Tip to your favorite barrel!
