Python Paintball has released an innovative new product that will allow just about any barrel to match the bore of the paintballs being used. The new Python Paintball Compression Kit features a barrel adapter that threads to the rear of your paintball barrel. Compression Kits are specific to the barrel thread that works with your gun. Once the Python adapter is threaded to your barrel, you insert one of the included compression sleeves. The correct sleeve is the one that matches the bore of your paintball. Python includes 4 sleeves in various bore sizes: .679, .682, .685 and .688. This allows just about any paintball barrel to match the paint that's being used. Paint-to-barrel matching is one of the most important factors in paintball accuracy and efficiency. Python has now made it easier for lower end barrels to achieve the same results as barrel kits costing $100+. Python Compression kits are available for the Tippmann A5/x7, Tippmann 98, Autococker, Ion (Impulse) and Spyder threaded barrels.
Python Paintball has also released an alumium 45 degree elbow. Actually one of the only of it's kind, the Python Aluminum Elbow replaces the plastic elbows that commonly crack or break over use. Some of the best parts in paintball are from smaller companies that produce high quality components with very tight tolerances. Killjoy Industries is a company that fits into this category. Killjoy has released a new line of A5 and X7 Triggers. The A5 Triggers include two models: Lines and Cutout. Both models feature a different design but are machined from the same high quality aluminum. These single triggers are anodized to a flat black finish. A complete replacement for the stock trigger in the A5 Basic and A5 WAS Board Egrip.
The X7 models include the single trigger in both the Cutout and Lines models. They work with all versions of the Tippmann X7 as well as the Tippmann A5 HE Select Fire Grip. Killjoy has also produced an X7 / A5 HE Double Trigger Kit as well. The Killjoy Double X7 Trigger features a wide finger lip, a roller bearing and an adjustable trigger stop. The Double Trigger Kit includes an H.E. magnet and a double trigger guard.

Kingman has produced some of the most innovative paintball products over the last 15 years. Their newest venture is the KT (Kingman Training) line of 11mm Paintball Pistols. The new 0.43 caliber paintballs are a big departure from the standard .68 balls. While other 11mm guns on the market have adapted air-soft technology, the KT pistols use true paintball internals.
The secret behind Kingman's new line is the patented Reverse Striker Valve Assembly. It not only allows the KT pistols to shoot up to 250 fps, but with an air efficiency of 80 shots per 12 gram! The pistols are normal sized guns with the perfect weight and feel. They have an effective range of about 120ft with solid accuracy at 60ft.
The flagship pistol is the KT 11mm Eraser. This is Kingman's all-aluminum pistol. It weights in at 2.4lbs. The KT 11mm Chaser is constructed of both aluminum and polymer, weighing in at 1.9lbs. Both the Eraser and Chaser paintball pistols come with 2 - 12g CO2 cartridges, 100 - 11mm paintballs, a squeegee and barrel blocking device.
The KT pistols require 11mm (.43 caliber) paintballs. Kingman offers the paint in both 200 and 500 round containers. Colors are orange or yellow. Spare 9 round mags are also available in twin packs.
Trinity has released a series of head bands designed for paintball use. If your mask irritates your forehead during a long day in the woods, the Trinity Paintball Head Band may be just what you need. The Head Bands are available in traditional black and digital brown ACU. The outer layer is made from cloth with a inner terry cloth liner. The area that contacts the forehead is reinforced with an inner thin pad for more comfort and protection. They are light, washable and absorb sweat well. They measure about 42" in length so they should be able to tie around the largest of domes. The one end bears the Trinity logo.
Also available is the Trinity Sweat Band. This sweat band is made from terrycloth material. It's comfortable and can be used both on and off the field. It available in all black and features the Trinity logo.

Normally, most tanks have a hydro test date at least a few months old once they hit retailers' shelves. They are tested for 5 years. Next testing is 11/2013. You may have heard in either chat forums or seen the youtube videos of Tiberius' new First Strike Sniper Rounds. These paintball rounds are a departure from the traditional paintball as we all know it. The new sniper round is still a .68 caliber ball. The unique feature is the stabilization fin at the rear of the ball. The skirt-like fin is responsible for the increase in both accuracy and range over traditional paintballs. Tiberius is reporting an accuracy gain 25 times that of traditional paintballs with a range increase of 50%!
The Sniper Round uses a brittle shell made of polystyrene. Tiberius states that the shell is less likely to be affected by changes in temperature, humidity and sunlight. The inside fill is thicker than most, offering solid marking, good visibility and resistance to wiping.
The Sniper Rounds will be available soon for use in both the Tiberius Arms T8 and T9 paintball guns. In order to shoot the rounds, a First Strike Conversion Kit will be required for both the T8 and T9. The kit will include everything you need to make your pistol or rifle compatible to shoot the Sniper Rounds.

JCS (Jet City Specialties) has been in the business of making quality Tippmann replacement parts for years now. Recently, JCS set their sights on the new Tippmann 98 Platinum Series line of paintball markers. Now Platinum owners have an option to replace the stock plastic tube with an aftermarket all-metal version. Tippmann put a updated powertube in the new Platinum series markers. Therefore the platinum series powertube will not work with previous versions of the 98 paintball guns. The Platinum Series Red Hot Powertube is made from red anodized, aircraft aluminum. It offers a tighter seal and more reliable performance than it's plastic stock counterpart. Will this increase the performance of your marker? Probably not. Aluminum powertubes offer a reliability upgrade more so than a performance upgrade. The metal hole on the aluminum Red Hot tube offers a much tigher hold on your velocity set screw than the plastic tube. This means your velocity stays at where you set it.
JCS also includes a newly updated Hexadecagon Front Bolt with all their powertube kits. The latest version of the JCS-famed front Tippmann bolt is now made of Lexan. This creates a bolt that is as tough as the old, but lighter than ever.
Don't worry 98 Custom and Custom Pro owners. JCS is still producing their original powertube models for your markers as well.
